Murata Spring Co., Ltd., was incorporated and headquartered in Sumida-ku, Tokyo.

A factory was newly established in Hanabusa-cho, Utsunomiya-shi.
March 1967
A 33,000 square meter lot in Hiraide Industrial Park, Utsunomiya-shi, was purchased as a factory site. A wire spring factory was newly established in November 1968.
August 1973
The head office was relocated from Hanabusa-cho to Hiraide Industrial Park to integrate with the factory.
December 1981
The Osaka Sales Office was established in Nishi-nakajima, Yodogawa-ku, Osaka-shi (and later relocated to its current location, Ikeda, Neyagawa-shi, Osaka).

The Technical Center was newly opened at the Headquarters site.

MSC received the Academic Award for the development of oval section springs from the Research Committee for Small Springs Spring Technology (now the Japan Society of Spring Engineers [JSSE)).
